SMS Opt-In
This page shows the exact screen where a SpecRecon user provides their mobile number and opts in to text (SMS) notifications, reproduced here publicly so it can be reviewed without an account. SpecRecon is a subscription application for mechanical and plumbing contractors; the live screen below sits inside the signed-in app at Profile → Notification preferences. There is no public sign-up, and we never send marketing messages.
Text notifications are off by default. Entering a mobile number does not, by itself, opt a user in. No message is ever sent unless the user also switches on the Text toggle for a specific notification type. Each type is opted into separately and can be switched back off at any time.

Every Text toggle is off until the user turns it on. That is the account default for all new and existing users.

- Who receives messages: only authorized employees of a subscribing contractor, who have an account and have opted in as shown above.
- Message type: account and workflow notifications only — never marketing or promotional.
- Message frequency varies based on account and workflow activity.
- Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.

- Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
